GENEVA, Switzerland—Hach Ultra launches the new ORBISPHERE 510 multi channel instrument with cross-channel compensation.
The ORBISPHERE 510 with cross-channel compensation allows users to accurately measure low-ppb dissolved oxygen in the presence of secondary gases. The same is true where accurate measurements of nitrogen and hydrogen are required in each others presence.
This product has been designed for process monitoring applications in nuclear power plants and electronic water plant facilities, offering process critical measurements such as hydrogen and oxygen levels in nuclear power plant Reactor Coolant Systems (RCS).ORBISPHERE patented sensors have been designed to promote ALARA principles to minimize operator radiation exposure.
One of the largest global nuclear operators recently standardized on ORBISPHERE unique cross-channel compensation products to more effectively manage their RCS and reduce plant shutdown and outage times. This resulted in $2m additional revenues for a single reactor by extending their uptime and generating capacity.
